Kell: Neil Findley, 79, South River Road, Antigonish Co., passed away March 4, 2014. Born in Antigonish, he was the son of the late John Thompson and Catherine (Beaton) Kell. He was a house and property assessor with the Provincial Government. Surviving is his wife of 49 years, the former Dianne Melanson; daughters, Joanne (Andrew) Snow, Abbotsford, BC; Paula (Hoge) Paulsen, Maple Ridge, BC; sons, Neil Allan (Susan), Hong Kong; Thompson Joseph (Desiree), Maple Ridge; 11 grandchildren; brothers, John (Cathy), Niagara Falls, ON; Regis (Martina), Antigonish; sisters, Agnes ( late Robert) Napier, Halifax; Mary Margaret (Donald) Armstrong, Halifax; Leah (John) Devlin, Fredericton, NB. He was predeceased by his sister, Ann Marie (William) Peterson. Cremation has taken place. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Thursday, March 13, 2014 in MacIsaac Funeral Home, 61 Pleasant St., Antigonish. Funeral Mass 11:00 a.m. Friday in St. Ninian’s Cathedral, Antigonish, Rev. Donald MacGillivray presiding. Burial of ashes at a later date in St. Ninian’s Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Antigonish Friendship Corner.
