Obituary of Pamela Dale Bennett
Bennett: Pamela Dale, age 62, of Barney,s River, Pictou Co., passed away April 5, 2014 in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Halifax on February 1st, 1952, to Jean McNeil (Hunt).
Pam worked most of her life at Maritime Medical Care. She was a dedicated hard worker and very respected as a supervisor, and friend there. She had a passion for the outdoors, and was an avid trap shooter. Pam was always a fun loving and very caring person. She would light up a room whenever she was in it. She was loved, and respected by all. Pam was a loving wife to Ralph Bennett, of 44 years. Pam was an exceptional mother, friend, and hero to Christopher and Patrick Bennett. She was also the best nanna to Benjamin and Zachery Bennett. As well as a caring, and loving sister to her siblings.
Pam is survived by her husband, Ralph Bennett; sons Christopher Bennett, Halifax; Patrick Bennett, Barney’s River; grandchildren, Benjamin and Zachery Bennett; brothers, Maurice Hunt, Moose Jaw, Sask; Doug Hunt (Betty), Lake Echo; Tommy Coates(Maxine), Harriestfield; Robert Coates, St. Stephen, NB; Billy Coates, Dartmouth; sisters, Marilyn Roberts(Ken), Westphal; Lois McSweeney(Sean), Hatchet Lake;Cheryl Futotto, Moose Jaw; many nieces and nephews.
Pam was predeceased by her mother, Jean McNeil, Doug and Stella Hunt; brother, Bill Hunt, and family pet Brandi.
The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of St. Martha’s Regional Hospital for their love and care of Pam.
By request of Pam’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services. Pam will be greatly missed, but she will always be with us until we meet again.
