Obituary of Margret Chisholm

We regret to announce the passing of our dear mother Margret "Isobel" Chisholm, April 9th 2014, at the R. K. MacDonald Nursing Home, Antigonish. She was born in 1926 to John Hugh and Mary (MacLean) Gillis. She was predeceased by her son, Douglas and loving husband, Bernard; sister Marie; brothers, Ronald, Hugh Duncan, Joe and John Alex. She is survived by her son, Fred (Vanda), Antigonish; Daughters, Mary Ann, Antigonish, Darlene (Debbie), Bon Accord, Alta, Carol (Ken), Country Harbour, Jeanette (John), Antigonish, sister, Jennie Macquarrie, Arisaig, Antigonish Co.; She dearly loved and was loved by her grandsons, Douglas, Colin and Nathan, and her many nieces and nephews. She was a joy to know and will be dearly missed. Visitation, Sunday, April 13, 2-4, 7-9 p.m. in MacIsaac Funeral Home, 61 Pleasant St. Antigonish. Mass of Christian Burial, Monday, April 14th at 10:00 a.m. in St. Andrews Church, St. Andrews, Rev. Charles Cameron presiding. Burial in St. Ninian’s Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, or charity of choice.
