Obituary of George Edwin Sinclair

George Edwin Sinclair, 82, of Goshen passed away peacefully at home, Tuesday October 27 2015. Born in Goshen he was the son of the late Edward and Christina (Sinclair) Sinclair. He was a lifelong resident of Goshen, a Private in the Home Reserves with the Pictou Highlanders from 1945-1950. George worked as a farmer, Mail Delivery, Bus Driver and with various Pulp Contractors. He was Member of Kings United Church, Loch Katrine. George was an honest, hardworking family man with a kind heart who could be counted on in any situation. Surviving are children, David (Linda) Beech Hill, Jim, Goshen, Shirley, Lismore. grandchildren, Christopher, Brittney, Brandon, Emily, Jonathan,(Janina), Jordyn, great-grandchildren Nicholas, Cole, and Rylan and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Rita Belle. Visitation 2-4 and 6-8 pm Friday in MacIsaac Funeral Home, 61 Pleasant St., Antigonish. Funeral Service 11:00am Saturday in Kings United Church, Loch Katrine. Burial in the Goshen Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations to St. Martha’s Palliative Care.
