Obituary of James Roderick MacDougall

James Roderick MacDougall, 58, of Antigonish, passed away Saturday, Feb 23, in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital. Born in Antigonish, he was the eldest son of the late Rod and Marie (MacLean) MacDougall.

James worked for many years as a drill push in the Oil and Gas industry of Western Canada. He enjoyed time spent with family and friends, and had a love for animals, especially his dog, Dawson.

He is survived by his wife Gingerlee, son Tristen DeYoung, step-son Troy, grandchildren Hanna and Matteo, sisters Jean Delorey and Susanne, brothers Ronnie and John.

Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 pm Tuesday, February 26 in MacIsaac Funeral Home, 61 Pleasant St., Antigonish. Funeral Mass 11:00 am Wednesday, February 27 in St. Ninian Cathedral, Rev. Donald MacGillivray presiding.
