To the family of Sister Hugh Marie:
My sincere condolences to my friends, the DeWolfe Family. I attended St. Andrew Rural High where sister taught in the 1960s. She would try so hard to look stern when we misbehaved, but her affection for young people and her merry, twinkling eyes always gave her away. I did not have the privilege of being taught by her, but I liked her very much. Later when I met her as Sister Sarah, she remembered and took an interest in me. Her brother Gerard was my first teacher when I attended Fraser's Mills. I know that you all loved her dearly, and will miss her.
