A wonderful, moving video. I was so fortunate to have seen her this past November after far too many years. An amazing, gracious lady. Former neighbour and babysitter to my first born. To the MacKenzie clan:

Millie and I were distressed to read of Mary's passing. Your mom and dad were a major part of our early married lives, and we have been appreciative of their involvement over these 60 years. We would have liked to be able to attend her funeral, but Millie's condition has pretty well eliminated travel of any distance.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

Dear Sheila, David, Cathy & Stephen,
We were shocked and saddened to read of Mary's passing. She was a remarkable lady and we will always remember her fondly. Your father stayed with us when he first came to work in Antigonish and I remember vividly when he brought Mary 'home' to meet us. She immediately became part of the family. She was such a joy to be around. She will be missed by all who knew her and there will be so many memories. Our sincere condolences to all of you and your families.

To the MacKenzie family,
I am finding it difficult to write about your mother, my dear sister and friend. I find it hard to say Mary will no longer here. Mary and I were very close growing up and were always there for each other. I lit a candle and had her prayed for at mass today.
I love you all very much. Sorry I could not be there for the funeral.

We are so sorry for the loss of your Mom. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing Mary over the years during her visits with Sheila and Peter. We remember fondly when we were in Antigonish for the first time that Mary was jumping through “hoops” to introduce her Ontario friends to everyone in town. She drove us everywhere that Sheila had spoken of over the years and made us feel very special. Sending our sincere condolences to all.

Aunt Mary was truly a wonderful person - so full of life and happiness. I was very blessed to have her in my life.
My wife, Ann, and I loved her company; she took so much interest in our lives and our children.
To Sheila, David, Cathy and Stephen we are very sorry for your loss, but take comfort in knowing that Mary positively impacted so many people with her love and friendship.
Rest in peace, Mary.
