Ambrose, has been a fixture in my life since I was very young. He would come down to Gramma and Jim's every evening and they would play a hand of cards while I made the tea. Gramma hated losing to Ambrose and Jim, they were loving neighbors. As a grown up, my husband Basil and I bought our beef from him every fall, we knew his pastures were not sprayed and his beef was the best. He will always be a rose in my heart.
