Marian, my most sincere sympathies to you on your mother's passing. Having met her at various times during the so very many, many, many times that she stayed with you over the years in Halifax, I came to know her as a true lady. I always enjoyed the tea and conversation that we would have at your home; also her stories of the "many laughs and great times" ( as she described them to me) that she had with you during the various trips on which you took her --- to the "Boston States", as we used to call it , to Cape Breton and other places. I am also remembering the times that I would join you both at The Redwood Restaurant; as always I enjoyed your mother's company and conversation. Many memories of meeting your mom are brought back to life at this time, and as I said above, " She was a true lady". Sith Dhi Daonnan ( Peace to her Always).
