I was saddened to learn last night of Margaret's passing. What an exceptional life she had. To talk to her was to open the door to decades of family stories. She loved to show her treasured photos and every picture had a story. She cared deeply about people, especially those who were connected to the huge "Scotchman" family. She always wanted to keep up to date on what was happening with the families of her many nieces, nephews and cousins. I particularly appreciated the many times she visited my mother at the RK (and anytime I thanked her for that Margaret would laugh and say they were first cousins and shared a common birth month).
God granted her longevity -- may He now grant her eternal peace. Our thought and prayers are with you today as you celebrate a life well lived.
