Myrtle Danny Lloyd and John With great sadness sending sincere Condolences to all of you on the passing of Mary Lou. Had such a great visit with her and Myrtle when we were home last summer at her lovely home. She gave me her shortbread recipe which I will now treasure. Miss Boyd was the perfect, sweet teacher. My children had the good fortune to have Miss Boyd as their primary teacher. Her quiet demeanour and wonderful teaching expertise set them on a course of success in their life. We hold a special spot in our hearts for Miss Boyd. Rest in Peace sweet lady. I first met Mary Lou when we were teaching in Dartmouth in the 70’s. I was inspired by her patience and understanding of her students. We remained friends since then and I met her along with other friends at Smitty’s whenever she was in Dartmouth. She was a truly wonderful person who was so fond of her family and friends. We were all so fortunate to have her touch our lives. She will be missed. Please accept my sincere condolences. Sharon Mallory

Our deepest condolences to Myrtle, her brothers, and special friend Andrea, she was a great volunteer at St Martha’s Hospital Auxiliary, always pleasant to work with, and also enjoyed her in our aquasize classes, a sweet lady, R.I.P. ❤️

Sad to note that Mary Lou is no longer with us. I met her at Aquasize class. Such a warm friendly and generous woman. Mary Lou gave me a history of The Boyd Family and was indeed a long lost cousin.
