Mary Ellen and my Mom (Annie Catherine Fraser) were first cousins. I have many fond memories of Mary Ellen's lovely smile, and hospitality whenever we visited her. May you find comfort in your wonderful memories and hold each other tight. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Mary Ellen was one of the kindest, sweetest ladies I have met. She was a friend of my grandmother’s (Jean MacMullin) and they spent many Saturday nights together at Newfie Fever dances. Mary Ellen made sure I was taken care of during my time at ST.FX. She had me to her home for supper at least once a month and these suppers would include hours of chatting. Mary Ellen talked proudly of her daughters and her entire family. She talked about accomplishments, travel and had stories to share and pictures to show. She made sure I didn’t leave her home empty handed and asked that I call her when I returned to campus to make sure I was safe. Sending condolences to everyone who loved and was close to Mary Ellen.

Deepest sympathy to the Carroll/MacDonald family. On the occasions I had met her I remember Mary Ellen as a lovely person with a warm "Mona Lisa" smile. I hope that your memories of family gatherings, good times shared with each other will help you through this difficult time. May she rest in peace.

Dear Shauna, Juanita, and family.
It was with deep regret and sadness I learned of your dear Mom's passing. I offer you my sincere and heartfelt condolences and hope this gesture will provide you with some consolation and peace at this difficult time. Having lost my parents in the last six years, I know the pain and loss you are experiencing and send you my offering of masses, prayers, thoughts, and love in helping you get through this sad time. Mary Ellen was a very thoughtful, special lady, a beautiful Mom and will be missed greatly, but she is now with the angels and other relatives who have gone before her, but she will always be watching over you as your 'special angel'. Someday, you will all be reunited and enjoy her love again, for all eternity. God bless you !
In sincere sympathy,
Joe Chesal
