Obituary of Anne Cameron

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Anne Kathleen Cameron, of Wedgewood Dr. announce her peaceful passing on March 12, 2020 in St. Martha's Regional Hosptial. She was a daughter of the late George and Margaret MacDonald, New Glasgow.

Anne graduated in the class of '56 of St. Martha's School of Nursing. She worked as a nurse on 3rd East of St. Martha's, and later as nurse at St. Francis Xavier University. She and Clarence J. Cameron were married on June 28, 1958. She was very proud of the fact that all five her children are graduates of St.F.X. She enjoyed gardening, playing bridge, watching her Toronto Raptors and summers at the cottage in Bayloch.

She is survived by children: Mark, Cambridge Bay, NU; Carrie Anne (Ray) MacIsaac, Livingstone Cove; Clare (Terry) Kennedy, St. Andrews; Elizabeth (Scott) Graham, Sarnia Ont.; Donnie (Kim Bobko), Purl Brook; Grandchildren Keegan Cameron, Josh, Matthew and Nicholas Kennedy, Hannah and Jack Cameron and Riely and Annie Graham, Brothers John McDonald and Austin MacDonald and lifelong friend, Ruth O'Halloran.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Clarence Joseph and siblings Gerard (Bee), Isabel, Mabel and Donnie.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 15 from 2-4 and 7-9 in MacIsaac Funeral Home, 61 Pleasant St. Funeral Mass Monday, 2:00 pm in St. Ninian Cathedral, Rev. Donald MacGillivray presiding. Burial in the parish cemetery at a later date. Donations may be made to the CACL Antigonish or charity of choice.
