Our heartfelt condolences to all of Uncle Roddy’s family. Our hearts are broken as we have to say so long to another one of our clan. We are so sad that we are unable to be with you during this difficult time. Roddy was such a special man, he always made a point to stay in contact with a phone call or a text, and was always so happy to see us arrive at the Cape for some family function. His stories and chats always included some update from his shop , an occasional story for Leonard about their crushing days together and always so much pride in his family, especially his grandkids, he was a great husband and father, but I’m sure he loved the title papa the most . The great relationship you shared and all your beautiful memories are something to be proud of and cherish in the difficult days ahead, rest assured, he will always always be remembered and his legacy will continue through the impact he’s had on us all. So long Uncle..we love you and will miss you dearly.
Love Beverley, Leonard and Family xxooo

What you have deep in your heart cannot be lost through death.
Dear Debby, dear Adam family
we asked ourselves why roddy’s death has really struck us?
That's the answer: Because we saw the world in the same way.
The shared fun, the love, the warmth, the trust, the understanding, the willingness to help, the care, the interest, the experience, the strength, the hard work and the gratitude to each other have made us give Roddy a special in our hearts forever.
We are happy and very grateful to have known such an extremely helpful person (by that we also mean you, dear Debby) as a friend. Roddy will always be with us, he will also be part of our lives in the future.
Dear Debby, dear Adam family, be strong, Roddy is not gone. We all have Roddy in our hearts, he will be with us forever.
We are with you in our thoughts and share your sadness in our hearts

Was saddened to read of Roddy's passing - it has been many years since we worked together on the crushers at Dexter! Was not always an easy road, we didn't always agree and neither of us really liked to compromise - but we always got through it and could share a laugh and a drink after work's end. He was a get it done kind of guy and always worked as hard himself as he expected anyone else to work.
Sincere sympathy to all the family, he leaves a big hole in your lives and will be missed, may your memories bring you comfort.

My Condolences to the family. I Knew Roddy for many years best and had some words. But Good ones. He was one of most hardworking man I knew. He would call me day and night needing stuff from Toromont Cat or Battlefield Rentals and always said I am to busy to wait make sure ready to go. Do not have time to wait. He always wanted to give advise and teach so many people is all he was great in doing. He would repair and run crushers like no one else I knew. Will miss the calls he would even call after he retired. He will be missed by all. P.S I believe he will be running crushers in Heaven. Thinking of you all in the Adams Family.
