B. Marlene Chisholm, 55 of Williams Point, Antigonish County passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 8, 2020. Born in Antigonish she was a daughter of Shirley and late James Chisholm.
Besides her mother, Marlene is survived by her partner Malcolm (Mac) Harding, two step-sons, Tanner and Tyler; sister Darlene (Billy Wallace), Antigonish; niece/Goddaughter Michelle (Shane Townshend); grandnieces and nephews Gabby, Bella, Domonic, Dawson, Damien, Thorburn; special cousin Debbie (Jack) Linkletter, Antigonish; special aunt Mary B. (Wayne) Burton, Vancouver, after whom she was named, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. She is also survived by her biological mother and step-father Mary and Walter DeWolfe, biological sisters Vera, Antigonish; Carrie (Kevin) LePorte, Ont.; Kenny (Barb) DeWolfe, Boston, Mass., and several step-nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father, James Chisholm; maternal grandparents, Patrick and Emily Linkletter; paternal grandparents John and Agnes Chisholm; Godparents Kay Smith and Lesley Linkletter and several aunts uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12 from 6:00-8:00 pm in MacIsaac Funeral Home, 61 Pleasant St., Antigonish. Funeral Mass 11:00 am Tuesday in St. Ninian Cathedral, Rev. Donald MacGillivray presiding. Burial at a later date. COVID-19 protocols will be in place for both visitation and funeral. Masks must be worn.
