Obituary of Marguerite Soble

Mary "Marguerite" (MacLellan) Soble of Antigonish passed away in St. Martha's Regional Hospital on Monday, March 1, 2021. Born in Antigonish on May 3, 1946 she was the daughter of the late Donald and Marguerite (MacDonald) MacLellan. 

Marguerite was raised by her grandfather's, Lauchie MacLellan's, housekeeper Margaret Ann "Maggie" MacDonald following the death of her mother at childbirth. Then, when her father re-married, she was raised with him and his wife Janet (MacDonald).

In 1972 she married Jack Soble. As a military family they were stationed in several places including Belleville and Port Hope, Ontario as well as Germany. 

Marg leaves behind her loving husband of 49 years, Jack Soble, daughter Kristi (Justin) Pike and son Casey (Lindsay) Soble, sisters Carolyn, Isabel, Teresa, Donna and brother Kenny and her special sister-in-law, Bonnie Ceretti as well as many nieces and nephews.
