My sincere sympathy to Margie's family on her loss. She was a beautiful and kind lady, and she spread love wherever she went. Our paths crossed at Line-dancing, the RK Choir and at the St.FX aquatics pool. She was always the same, with a pleasant smile and big heart. May she rest in peace and God bless you all.

Loss of a mother is always a time of sadness and but brings joy with remembrance. I only met our mother a few times when A.Pat and I were at Pat and Rita's cottage in Arisaig, but was always welcomed by all the family connections. She has left her mark on many lives as mother, grandmother, friend and caring nurse. Peace to you all at this hard time.

Dear MacDonald Family,
My condolences on the passing of Aunt Margie. She was always so kind and welcoming to my siblings and I - especially when we cut through the woods to run around making an awful racket. She never minded any of it and often welcomed us in for a cool drink and conversation when we started losing steam. I was back to visit a few years ago and I got the exact same treatment as if time had stood still. I will always remember her as welcoming, kind, and warm.

Dear Cathy, MJ, Nan, Janice, Eleanor and Sandy,
My sincere condolences on the passing of your mom. I admired and loved your mom so much. She was an AMAZING, cool mother - so patient, wise, hard-working and dedicated to her family. In spite of the fact that she had many kids and many kids that are close in age, she was still able to be a kind and compassionate nurse while managing to keep an orderly and tidy home. I will always remember your mom's warm smile. The obituary was beautifully written - I am having visions of your wonderful parents jiving together! She will be missed dearly but your dad sure is happy that they are now reunited. I wish I could be there. I am holding you all in my thoughts and prayers. Sending you virtual hugs. Much love, Maureen

Dear Mary Jean, Nan, Janice, Eleanor, Cathy, Sandy and Family,
There was always a perimeter of the colony. Collie was at the top, Uncle Donald & Aunt Margie at the lower corner looking onto the ocean (best location as far as I was concerned) Aunt Rita's on the hill and then Zenos. Goodness remember Zenos...
Such fond memories of a stop at the Cottage on the way to or coming from the beach where she would be standing in the kitchen ready with a tea or some baked good. Such a beautiful kind woman. You have been blessed by her life and we shall all miss her warmth and ready smile.
Our sincerest condolences from Richard & Pauline Mirabelli, Ryan, Taylor, Regan.

Hello to Margie's family. I was saddened to read her obituary in today's paper. I didn't realize that she's been sick. I worked with Margie for many years in Obs at St. Martha's. She was a caring and dedicated nurse and we shared many stories and laughs over the years. We also took some horseback riding lessons together many years ago. She was much braver than I around those big animals. Please accept my sincere condolences. Margie was a kind and gentle woman who loved her family. May she rest peacefully.

To Margie's family,
Please accept my deepest sympathies and condolences to you all. I had the privilege and pleasure of working with her at St Martha's, first as a nursing student and then as a colleague in various capacities over the years. She was completely dedicated to her family, her community and to her nursing profession. She was humble, caring, kind, compassionate, respectful of all, and displayed these qualities every day that she worked at St Martha's, one of those nurses, we young nurses, all wanted to practice like and be like. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers as you navigate through these sad and darkest of times. You will miss her greatly, but she will live on in your hearts and memories forever.

I miss your mom already!
To know her was to love her ...... and I loved her.
My favorite memory of Margie was when I was able to make her laugh. She put up with my non-stop talking and "story telling" for over 45 years. Obviously, she was a woman of great strength and patience :-)
She loved her family and embodied the true definition of "Mother."
Whenever you find yourself feeling the sadness and weight of her loss ...... just picture your parents doing a jig up in Heaven. That's what I'm doing right now ..... and it helps!
LOVE, LOVE,LOVE
Marie
