Barbara Rose MacDonald of Lakevale passed away peacefully on Monday, August 9, 2021 in the R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home, Antigonish. Born in Glace Bay on October 28, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Ella (Isnor) Orton. She was predeceased by her husband, John MacDonald. 
 

Survived by sons Keith and Joe, daughter Ellie, granddaughter Michelle, great grandchildren Kimberly, Alison ,Colby and Nathan and several nieces and nephews. 
 

Funeral Service with burial will be held on Friday, August 13, 2021 at 2:00 pm in St. Columba Cemetery, Rev. Andrew Boyd presiding. Donations may be made the the R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home Foundation.
