Paul, Donna and all Jeanette's family,
My sincere condolences on Jeanette's passing. I have fond memories of times spent with Jeanette in our younger years. I first met her when, as a young Heatherton kid, I joined an Antigonish softball team. Jeanette and I played several years together with John D.'s Marketeers. I also worked at the same Dept. of Highways office as Jeanette for a year. She was forever a gracious, kind and caring lady with a fantastic quick wit and she was always ready for any shenanigans that might be afoot. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time.

My deepest sympathies to Paul, Donna and family. Aunt Jeanette was loved dearly and will always be remembered for her wonderful humour, warmth, kindness, and generosity. Growing up, our family always loved visiting at Aunt Jeanette and Uncle Ronnie’s. Jeanette was fun to be around and was always joking with us kids. I remember one time us getting a big kick out of her using mustard as bug repellent. Before leaving after a visit, she would always sneak up to us and stuff money down our shirts and tell us not to tell our mother! She was also very comforting and had a way of making us feel better if we were ever worried about anything. She was truly one-of-a-kind and an amazing woman.
Thinking of you and remembering your mom with love.

I did not know Aunt Jeanette was a softball champ! Woman of many talents, for sure, but I know her happiest success was her marriage and beautiful family. Deepest sympathy from Dave, Frances, Lily and Aaron

Condolences to Donna, Paul and family. I have great fun memories visiting Nova Scotia. I loved Aunt Jennette & Uncle Ronnie. Only thing I wished is that everyone lived closer. I cherished the time spent with Aunt Jennette. I thought she was so funny. I remember when she showed us how to get natural spruce gum from a tree and chew it and going to get spring water before it was popular. I told her we should sell this and she laughed and said " we would all be rich!" We should of did it Jennette and called it MacGillivray Clan spring water.
When we stayed at your home Jennette said "You passed the big mall coming in did you see it?" I said excited Mall....I didn't see it? Aunt Jennette was talking about a little mom and pop country store we passed nothing else around....LOL! She was always trying to get you to laugh. I loved talking to her and being around her.
Love you Aunt Jennette! ♡♡♡♡
