Obituary of Robert Phillip Gerard MacDonald

Robert Phillip MacDonald, 67, of Pleasant Valley, Antigonish County passed away Monday, October 24, 2022 in Greenwold Manor, Antigonish.
Robbie was a son to the late Ronald and Christina (Delaney) MacDonald. He was born in Antigonish, and spent his entire life in Pleasant Valley.

Robbie is survived by daughter Karen, sons Andrew and Murray, and five grandchildren. He is survived by brothers Joseph, Michael, James, sisters Marion, Stella and Jane, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Hugh, Ronald, Donald, John and sister Joan.

Robbie worked in the forestry industry, had a love for trees and the outdoors. He enjoyed listening to country music, watching hockey or baseball games and playing crib. Robbie enjoyed his time at Greenwold Manor where he reacquainted with persons from his past and made new friends. He enjoyed playing cards, the music and the general camaraderie with his neighbours at Greenwold Manor. Robbie will be missed by friends new and old.

Cremation has taken place, burial will be at a later date at St. Ninians Cathedral Parish, Antigonish.
