My heart goes out to the family. Uncle James had such an affectionate demeanor and we had great conversations once I reached adulthood. Loosing a life partner, dad, grandfather, etc, all impact you in a different but deep emotional way. The memories and the stories we cherish today and always. I love you. I am sorry I was unable to be with you over the past couple of days. Know my prayers and thoughts are with you this week. [HUGS] to everyone.

I would like to offer my condolences to the whole Fraser family and my sister-in-law, Lillian. The first time I met James Fraser, was way, way back in 199- something. He was up a tree about 40' cutting branches from a big tree that once stood in his yard. Over the years we grew to be friends and compatriots in both his home and the legion. May James Fraser, rest in the arms of our Lord. God with God James. Reverend Charles "Art" Riley, Deacon.

Fraser Family:
WE are very sorry to hear of James passing. We knew him for a number of years with the Cape Breton Fiddlers Association. He was always so pleasant with a smile on his face.
Our daughter Stephanie, a fiddler and dancer, had a great rapport with James at the sessions. When she was just starting out, he always gave her encouragement and advice.
She described him as a great gentleman.
