Obituary of Duncan Joseph Stewart
Duncan Joseph Stewart, age 77, of Ohio passed away peacefully in St. Martha's Regional Hospital surrounded by family.
Born on April 19, 1946 he was a son of the late Red Hughie and Catherine (MacLean) Stewart.
He lived most of his life in Ohio where he took pride in his work as a long time farmer and, for many years, as a truck driver for Hughie Dan MacEachern Trucking. Duncan is survived by children Anita (Mark); Trevor (Collette); grandchildren Sarah, Cameron, Riley and Mary Stewart and Keegan, MacKenzie, Allie and Noah Levangie; brothers Kenny (Hubertina); Allan (Maria); sisters Shirley (Ernie) and Beverly (Kenny). He was predeceased by son Aaron Stewart; parents Hughie and Kay Stewart and siblings Hughie, Reginald and John in infancy.
The family would like to thank Dr. Michelle Murphy and NP Lena MacDonald for their many years of care to Duncan. Special thanks to the VON and Palliative Care Team for the amazing care they gave Duncan. The family truly appreciated the excellent care they provided.
