Dear Luc, Valerie, CJ, Donovan, Brittany and Jordan
I was so sad that the inclimant weather kept me from the service. I attempted to send a gift in my absence but that plan unfortunately failed as well.
I wanted to share my fondest memory of Mary in hope that it honors who she truly was as a person.
When I was about five, I was the flower girl at Mary's first wedding. I remember standing in the reception looking up at all the strange adults moving about doing important things on an important day. Then out of the crowd stepped the most beautiful woman I had ever seen. It was my aunt Mary in her stunning white gown. As I stared in amazement, Mary floated up to me like an angel, knealt down, smiled, and asked if I had eaten yet. Then in her warm gentle way, the bride kindly helped me to manage a plate, found me a spot to sit and made sure that I was content. She was supposed to be the center of attention, but she set that aside to care for me and that made me feel so important as well.
Aunt Mary had a deep caring for those around her, and as I grew up I also realized that her deep caring came with a deep inclination for forgiveness, which I have always admired.
I offer my sincere condolences to her children, her spouse, and to her best friend, who is my mother. May you find comfort knowing that she is at peace and may you find joy in remembering the truely special person that she was.

To Luc and the Kelly Family:
We are very sorry for your loss. Mary was a very kind and friendly person.
She always made you feel as if she was glad to see you when you met her.
We wanted to go to the visitation but the weather was so bad last night
that we decided not to go. We are keeping you in our prayers.

I was so sad to see Mary's obituary. She was truly one of the finest people I've ever known: an incredibly loving, forgiving, selfless, kind woman whose sunny personality brightened her encounters with others. Her devotion to her Uncle George and her parents was awe-inspiring. Mary was a beacon of integrity and principled living. She experienced many difficult situations, but always forged ahead with strength and humility, dedicating herself to making the world a better place. Mary was a true inspiration. I wish there were many more Marys in this world. May she rest in eternal peace; she will never be forgotten.

We are sending our sincerest condolences to you Mary’s children and your families on the passing of your dear Mom and Grandmother. We got to know Mary through the school system and again through the 4-H program. She was the kindest, gentlest, friendliest lady in all situations, always with that pleasant signature smile. It was always lovely to meet her while out and about and have a chat catching up on everyone. She was so proud of you all. Cherish all the beautiful memories. May she now rest peacefully with all her loved ones who have gone before her.

My sincere sympathy to Mary's family. I knew her only briefly when the children were at MacPherson Elementary School and we met at parent night conferences. She was always so kind and concern about the children's welfare, ready and willing to do whatever she could to help them in every way. She impressed me with her gentleness and caring manner. Rest in Peace.
