Obituary of Anne Mary Berrigan

The family of Anne Mary Berrigan is saddened to announce her sudden passing on November 5, 2023, at the age of 65 years. She will be very much missed by her partner, Colin (Collie) Chisholm. She is survived by her son, Scott MacKenzie (Helen MacDonald), grandsons Keanan and Cullen, Victoria Mines and niece Lisa (Elizabeth) Berrigan (Adam Rikley). She was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Kay (MacDougall) Berrigan, her brother Joseph, and nephew Tyson. 

Anne Mary was a graduate of Acadia University, St. Martha’s Hospital School of Nursing, and Dalhousie University. In her time as a nurse she was known for her very kind bedside manner. She also truly loved working with the elderly.

 
Anne Mary was a very creative individual. Everything she put her hand to she did with ease and flair, whether it be cooking, art, or exploring the world in her younger years. One of the great delights in her life was to be reunited with her son,Scott, a number of years ago .

  
A graveside service  will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 in St Columba Cemetery, Lakevale, Reverend Andrew Boyd presiding. Donations in her memory may be made to The Marguerite Centre themargueritecentre.com P.O.
