To all of Martina's family I send my deepest condolences on the loss of your mother. I met her when I used to work with Tommy, and she would pop in for visits with him, and they would share stories of their friendship over the years. Lots of laughs, and Tommy would say after she left "she is a ray of cheerfulness" May she rest peacefully.

Sending condolences to the entire Hatchette family on the loss of your mother. I grew up two houses from the McDonald family home in Mulgrave and spent many hours in that home as Buddy’s girls were and are dear friends of mine. Over the years I met Martina many times when she visited her mother Blanche and several times since then when she attended get togethers here in Mulgrave. She was a lovely person who was proud of where she grew up.

Today I am sad to read of Martina’s passing, but at the same time bombarded with the fondest of memories of this wonderful woman. She was a ‘block parent’ before there was such a thing. She knew us all and cared about what we were doing. Coasting on ‘Hatchette’s Hill’ was a winter highlight and so were her cookies! It’s been said that the truest memories don’t include exactly what was said but rather how the person made you feel… Martina always made us feel good, accepted and important.
God bless Martina.
