Rick and I had the great pleasure of meeting Gerard and Cathy back in 2012 through our work with CARMA. We got to see each other quite a bit over the next few years. Always a big wave and smile when he saw us. And the stories and jokes he could tell. Oh how my heart goes out to his family. All our love to you.

I first met Gerard as a young student at X. He picked me up hitchhiking from Halifax likely. As he was delivering feed we had a grand tour of the county before he dropped me off near campus. That is the same year I met Jack. Later I worked with Rachelle. Having also briefly been a crossing guard I admit he did the job with more flare than I did. He will be missed!
Condolences from us both
